It all started with the lives of games like Microsoft’s Age Of Empires or Electronic Arts’ Command & Conquer that became all-time blockbusters in the gaming industry and laid the foundation to one of the most popular gaming platform in the present era, Real Time Strategy Gaming. Real Time Strategy or just RTS gaming is one of those few gaming platforms where the user is let free to create a world of his own using the in-game options and his own strategic plot. But time has changed and its the era of online gaming now. Online gaming offers the user to enjoy some exotic titles but meanwhile improve his social skills.
Dragon Kingdomis a combination of both the gaming genres along with some eye popping action set in the medieval era. The eye popping 2D action keeps you stuck to your mobile device for hours while the soothing background score is enchanting enough keep you going for hours of gameplay. The best thing which i found out about this game is that besides being a massive multi-player online RTS title, it ran smoothly on a little HTC Explorer upon edge connectivity. Pros:

Once you are done installing the game and hit the icon, a text box pops up asking you for login data( there’s an option to sign up too, right on the same screen). If you are done with all the formalities, you are all set to choose your character and enter the magical world of the Dragon Kindgdom.

Let’s get started with the in-game options that you have. As you can see in the picture above, you got the build menu according to the dimensions of the selected plot and the amount to stock/currency required for the purpose.
2D or 3D? looks cool anyway
Just hit the build button and you’re done! easy as that. The game visuals on a whole are a treat to watch, carrying tonnes of eye-candy and hints and hues of the medieval era. That’s it for getting started, let’s move on to one of the more interesting features that the icon dock on the bottom of the screen hosts.

One of the most essential elements of online gaming, the Add Friend dialog box helps you to get along with the players roaming around the scene from across the world, while the text chat option facilitates further multi-player and strategic talks within the game. This being one of the most catchy features of the game, the game relies high time on team play and strategic hangouts.

Coming back to the plot of the game, the story is set in the medieval age with all the corresponding instincts. The users are alloted an island each as the main motive stays to build an empire by enriching your treasuries and capturing other islands where you get to see some blazing and flashy 2D strikes and shots during the battle scenes.

Good game-plot with all the elements popping out of the medieval era coupled with team-play fun, this is a sure-shot download for those RTS fans who wanna have some RTS MMO action on the move. Casted in 2D, the visuals boast a charm, couple that with the zero lag gaming experience, it has got all the elements of turning out to be another hit on the mobile platform.
